President: Tony Klehr
As the current President of the SCEA, I have had the pleasure of serving our membership for the past 2 years and it has been one of the most fulfilling roles I have had the privilege of serving in. In my time as the President of the SCEA, our leadership team has helped elect a pro-public education board that is against book banning, we helped spearhead efforts to pass a $180,000,000 bond through the community that will build 2 new schools and add on to a third, created a more responsive union structure around our QSC committee to support members, and brought to membership one of the most robust Tentative Agreements the SCEA has seen. We have been able to achieve this all while establishing partnerships with administration (including multiple HR directors) that have benefited members in a plethora of other ways. Continuing the work of Engaging, unifying and educating members to strengthen our organization will remain my top priorities for a new term. I am excited to engage membership in new ways and with new opportunities for advocacy on topics such as pension reform and others.
Vice President: Brandon Auge
I am hopeful that we can continue the good work that I supported the last two years under Tony’s leadership. With a successful board election, $180 million bond vote, and ratification of contract, with the very critical preservation of relationships with our administrative colleagues and school board, I am hoping we can continue our work around engagement, education, and unity moving into our next term.
Treasurer: Kelly Hoskins
I have served as treasurer for the past two years and have enjoyed my role in the union. I would like to continue in this role the next two years to further be a part of the future of the SCEA.
Secretary: Debbie Drommerhausen
Stillwater #834 has been my professional home for years. I have been the SCEA Secretary for a “few” years and I love it. I am one of the Marketing/Business teachers at SAHS. I look forward to serving our teachers again for another term. Thank you for all you do for students and families.
